What is Permaculture?

Permaculture is an ethically based design system for human habitation that is in harmony with the natural world. Permaculture is a process of holistic design that forces us to think in systems. A system assembles a number of different elements to accomplish some essential function and ideally creates a closed loop.

Our vision is to cultivate a community that reflects permaculture principles by designing, sharing and creating sustainable landscapes with others. We strive to bring sustainable and regenerative practices to the land and to work with clients on how they can get started on their permaculture journey.

Heart and Hand Permaculture services include site specific design, consulting, installation with continued support after the completion of the project. Your design will contain details on climate considerations, how to develop healthy living soil, strategies to grow your own food forest, microclimate management, rain water capture systems, local ecology survey, and an extensive concept plan.
